Not awful, just pretty terrible
I had to see this film as I believe its important to support ‘our own’ as my mammy would say. However, it did NOT fly the flag for Ireland and Irish filmmakers, so Im afraid Mammy’s theories are not always spot on! It starts out OK and then ends, well, disappointingly. It follows the cliché of Irish people being, well, Irish in the USA. And what is with the storyline of the radio station people following their progress?! Could have been left out with no loss to the storyline. Although I don’t see this as a complete waste of time like the previous reviewer, it wasn’t a great use of my time either. Its definitely a ‘wait for the cheap DVD’ film, and there’s no need to see in cinema.
