Sol enjoyed Jen’s smile, her effort, and how silly she could be. Jen enjoyed Sol’s cooking, his athleticism, and that he would join her in fun moments. As you can imagine, love bloomed, and things got serious. Jen’s investment in Sol led to her pushing him to follow his dreams and even move in to save money. Sol’s investment in Jen well, it led to him proposing. But what started as a liver tumor grew into full-on cancer, so with a diagnosis of 6 months to live, Sol and Jennifer try to make the best of it.

Definitely worth a watch!!
All My Life is a pretty positive heartwarming film with leads that are impossible not to love and a supporting cast who felt like a big family. The soundtrack is also a stand out. However, It sure guarantees you to shed a tear. I think the director is more than aware of how to operate his audience into psychological submission, but in a year like 2020, overt sugary cliches aren’t necessarily a bad thing when the packaging is as appealing as this.I loved how the movie embraces the best moments of life rather than dwelling on the sad ones. It sure did made me smile. Also, hands down to one of the best film proposals.

Relatable, Sweet, and a Tear-jerker
All My Life isn’t the first romantic drama to deal with a terminal illness, yet it does so in an effective manner.

Based on a true story, it’s a relatable film that’s filled with humor and drama. The characters are enjoyable and the chemistry feels real. Jessica Rothe and Harry Shum Jr. Play an amazing Jennifer and Solomon. Though the timeframes can get a bit wonky and confusing, the relationship feels quite real.

Each character does something a little special to add a sense of lightheartedness to a heavy topic. The film also reminds us of how much we take our day-to-day lives and health for granted.

Yet, my main complaint is that with such a short runtime, the movie felt a bit rushed. Given more time, Marc Meyers or Todd Rosenberg could have fleshed out the characters and story more. We could have seen things more from Solomon’s perspective or see more of the toll that a bad diagnosis can have on a couple.

But it’s still a sweet movie that deserves praise.
