Why didn’t they just follow the book
I really wish lifetime would stop screwing up book to TV movies as well biographies. This movie was nothing like the book none of the characters looked like they were described as in the book. The family didn’t look poor it was just all wrong

Disappointing start – maybe next movie will be better?
A lot of things aren’t explained properly, which would have helped one withe the story. Knowing there were 5 movies in the series made me anticipate a blockbuster, but this seems just a poor teen-themed movie.
