A plotless mashup
An American sci-fi adventure; A story about a boy who discovers he has superhuman strength and fighting skills, sets out to find the people responsible for his nightmare headaches, which appear to be a byproduct of his advantage. A poor stand-alone sci-fi action film, part of the “Maze Runner” film series. None of the characters are written compellingly enough for the viewer to root for. Slow and speeded-up motion techniques can’t disguise a boring, plotless martial arts and sci-fi mishap of style over substance.

Video game-esque fantastic martial arts movie
This is the second coming of Mortal Kombat we always wanted and never got. You’ll overlook the low budget, simple plot and basic sound effects for truly some of the greatest action choreography I’ve ever seen. This is a very cool movie with sci-fi elements that is a lot like a video game or anime. Fans of movies like Bleeding Steel, or Tekken will love this.
