Surprisingly touching
I was expecting a light teen comedy that put a spotlight on the ridiculousness of social media. But it was more than that, especially towards the end. I’m a fan of Zoey Deutch and she did not disappoint. Give it a chance. It really pays off in the end.
Predictable, unoriginal and basic
This film is entertaining enough to finish mostly due to the cast and acting.Storyline: If you’re in the mood for a story that caters to the current buzzing news topics and click bait, then you will most likely enjoy the storyline. If you’re uninterested in seeing underlining political stances or repetitive, unsurprising and obvious character qualities – then I would suggest skipping this film.
Cast: As previously mentioned, the cast is very captivating. Though Nadia Alexander has a small supporting role, I did enjoy her character. I was also impressed with Mia Isaac. I’m not familiar with her but she seems to be a very talented young actress.
Overall: Quinn Shephard makes an entertaining but fleeting film. Will people watch it more than once? Highly unlikely.
