Well, Alexandra Doke did a pretty good job for a Lifetime Movie. I’ll give it that…

… and you know you’re married when you watch Lifetime Movies, don’t you?

It’s the all men are rapists and the all boyfriend/husband ex’s are psychos channel isn’t it? There aren’t any other plot points on Lifetime Movies are there?

Anyway, this movie goes a step further and features high school bullies that dress like 50 year-old women still obsessed with Sex in the City. I had no idea that High School bullies dressed like elderly versions of Silverstone in Clueless plus 30 years?

Anyway that is the quality they put into this.

Overall Ruined Experience
To start off, I was annoyed by the transitions. Who decides a 3 second black screen with no sound would fitting for this movie? I can only remember one good transition. As bland as the plot is, I thought it could’ve been saved by the acting, but no. The direction taken for this film was very poor and inexperienced, just like it’s actors. The writing for Psycho BFF sounds like they put a 14 year old Wattpad author to work. There was no development whatsoever for the characters or plot. The delivery of the lines made sitting through it unbearable. Hopefully, the actors and the director find some improvement.
