Great indie horror movie
Definitely give this movie a watch!

Interesting plot with tons of scary and tense moments, definitely on par with the major horror movies coming out now. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Awful!
A couple purchase a house with a terrible history – seems like people were stabbed, shot, hung and whatever in its history. So wouldn’t be a great idea to open the house to the public, with plenty of scares and, gosh-darn it we could run it all year round. Yeah, that makes sense. When the house is ready for its debut, it looks like the cheapest Halloween house of horror – what look garbage bags are used on the walls to give ‘atmosphere’ and props are left laying around the hallways. The house is as spooky as a busy McDonalds. . So the first night punters come in and someone gets his throat cut. All the people rush out of the house. Husband goes looking for wife. He finds her crouched by a wall in the basement, echoing a deranged character from the house’s history. She then stabs the husband about 50 times and then cuts her own throat. The End.

This is just about the worst horror film I’ve ever seen – right up there with ‘A Night To Dismember’. Would make a great double bill for someone contemplating suicide.

There are a couple of 10/10 ratings here, both from people who have ever reviewed one movie, this one.

Very low budget movies can still be really worth watching but only if the movie has a good story and people who can act. Sadly, The Whitlow House has neither.
